The Kansas Developmental Disabilities Council is a federally-funded organization that supports the inclusion and full participation of individuals with developmental disabilities (DD) through education and grant-making. One of their priorities has been increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. With the goals of increasing competitive employment of people with disabilities in Kansas and educating the potential employers, family members, and policymakers on the possibilities of disability employment, we launched a campaign in 2018 and 2019, campaigns were carried out in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||0px|||” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”]
