The NewG Singers is a Contemporary Christian youth singing group that was launched in 1970. They have performed countless times to a wide variety of audiences. The NewG Singers is an inclusive group that welcomes all youth from the St. Joseph area. The leaders wanted to upgrade their online presence. Through this project we were able to bring their website into the 21st century, and elevate their organization’s legacy.
Overview
ngsingers.com is a perfectly responsive, basic WordPress site built with Divi. We completely revamped this website, taking it from a rainbow-striped blog to a professional website.
Features
The project included a complete website makeover to not only improve the appearance of the NewG Singers website, but also leverage the functionality of WordPress to work for the volunteer leaders as they prepare for each season.
Using shortcodes and categories, we were able to call information to specific areas of the website based on audiences and types of information. The website has a landing page for students, parents, volunteers, and even hosts. The coolest page on the site is the Current Season page, where visitors can view upcoming tour dates and see current tour chronicles.
