Transparency, boundaries, and the perks of hiring small.

Hiring a one-person design studio is a little different than hiring a big agency… and that’s kind of the point. If you’re here, you probably want a more personal experience. Someone who actually listens, who cares about your project, and who treats your business like it matters (because it does).

But just like any working relationship, clarity is everything. So let’s break down what you can—and can’t—expect when working with a solo designer like me.

What You Can Expect

1. Direct Communication

You won’t be passed around between account managers, interns, or “the design team.” You’ll talk to me—and only me. That means faster decisions, clearer feedback loops, and no crossed wires.

2. Thoughtful, Custom Work

This isn’t template land. Whether we’re working on your brand, website, or digital strategy, I’m building with your goals in mind… not trying to force you into a one-size-fits-all solution.

3. A True Creative Partner

I’m not just here to make things look nice. I care about your business, your message, and your long game. I’ll ask questions you may not have thought about and help you figure out what you actually need, not just what you think you need.

4. A Defined, Efficient Process

Just because it’s “just me” doesn’t mean it’s chaotic. I’ve built systems (and boundaries!) to keep things running smoothly, with timelines, checkpoints, and clear expectations along the way.

5. Real Human Energy

You’ll always get someone who’s fully present in your project. No copy-paste deliverables. No ghosting. Just honest work and a designer who actually cares.

What You Shouldn’t Expect

1. 24/7 Availability

I set clear working hours, and I stick to them. Not because I don’t care, but because boundaries are how I do my best work (and avoid burnout). If you need round-the-clock support, a bigger team might be a better fit.

2. Overnight Turnarounds

Quality takes time. I build space into my schedule for deep focus and creativity. Rush work may be possible sometimes, but it’s not the default. Planning ahead makes everyone’s life easier.

3. Unlimited Revisions or Scope

Projects come with defined timelines and deliverables. We’ll set clear expectations up front—so neither of us ends up overwhelmed or out of sync.

4. A Full Team’s Worth of Services

While I offer a lot and try to meet all of my clients’ needs (branding, web design, digital strategy), I’m not (necessarily) a photographer, copywriter, or SEO agency. That said, I’m happy to collaborate with your team or refer you to trusted partners when needed.

5. Corporate-Style Formality

This is a low-fluff zone. You’ll get straight answers, clear design, and a working relationship that feels like a partnership, not a pitch deck.

Why This Setup Works (For the Right People)

Working with a solo creative isn’t about cutting corners—it’s about connection. You’re getting one person’s full attention, full creativity, and full commitment to your project.

If that sounds like the kind of collaboration you want, you’re in the right place.
